Whipple yucca(after nine years)

This is a whipple yucca after it has been living for nine years or more. This photo was taken on 10/29/12 at 12:06 military time at Eaton Canyon. This is the same plant as the green spiked leaves plant as pictured before on this blog. The only difference is that this plant has aged nine years or more and died. After nine years the stalk grows from the plant and sprouts seeds. The plant then dies, turning a yellowish color like in this picture.
